is Vothole? |
Vothole™ is a method of quick and easy hole repair applicable
to sheet materials made of plasterboard, fibreglass, timber
and metal.
The Vothole™ Hole Repair Patch method uses a 120mm square
flexible plastic repair patch, a tie strip and a brace to
create a solid backing for the application of filler or hardener.
The plastic patch is flexible enough to be folded and pushed
through the hole, being tensioned against the back of the
sheet material by the tie strip, which is locked into the
wall brace by a ratchet mechanism. The plastic patch now forms
a solid backing for the application of filler or hardener.
The slots in the patch allow the filler or hardener to extrude
through the patch, providing extra structural strength to
the repair.
When dry, the protruding tie strip is cut off, releasing
the brace. A final application of filler or hardener is made
to complete a perfect repair.
